Since then I've picked my shapes and got to work with the manipulations, at first I chose boning, quilting and biscuiting because i didnt know which one i liked more. Soon i narrowed it down to boning and biscuiting. I love the biscuiting and I loved the boning, but together (unfortunetly) they did'nt really work, so after long debates with myself I decided to give up the biscuiting and just work with the boning! I will upload photos of the boning and the biscuiting now so you can see for youself..
So I have decided to go with just boning on its own and create a voluminous structure with it! I really like the idea and I'm very excited to get working on that now hopefully have a good start at it over the weekend. I dont quite have a final design yet but when I play around with lots of boning on the manican.
After sacrificing my lovely boning :) I then got an idea that the knots might tie into the design quite well now and it suits the sourcl. I will do up lines of knots in the leather and pin then to the boning to decide if they are right for it and if so where will I place them...?

well its just been a CRAZY week.. I'll start by uploading images of the research so you no where I started from..
MEMORIES..
ELECTRIC..
TRIBAL...
DECAY...
And my chosen theme, ENCLOSURE.
After doing research into all four, then further reseach into enclosure I decided to go with parks, but not whats in parks, what encloses them! I was going to investigate park railings and gates.
I did find that there werent many shapes i could get out of railings at first, however i was overlooking the negative space, all of a sudden there was loads more shapes to work with.
